The CORMAK BS912N metal bandsaw is a professional machine designed for precise cutting of tubes, profiles and solid elements. Its solid construction, automatic tool downfeed and hydraulic adjustment of the saw arm lowering ensure convenient operation, repeatability and high cutting quality.

The BS912N model allows cutting of materials with a diameter of up to 230 mm and making angled cuts in the range from 0° to 45°. This makes the machine suitable for metalworking shops, production workshops and anywhere that accuracy, stability and machining speed matter.

Construction and technology

The material to be cut can be fed manually or by means of any mechanical device. The tool feed is automatic, which makes the operator’s work easier and allows stable, repeatable results to be achieved.

The lowering speed of the saw arm is adjusted by means of a hydraulic cylinder. The appropriate speed is obtained thanks to a valve regulating the oil flow between the cylinder chambers. This solution makes it possible to adapt the machine operation to the type of material being processed and the expected cutting precision.

The required linear blade speed is obtained by changing the ratio on the belt pulleys between the worm gearbox and the drive motor. In the machine base there is a coolant tank with an electric pump, responsible for effective cooling of the blade and the workpiece.
