Application
This foulard-dryer combination has proven itself excellently in practice. It is used in this configuration for a wide variety of treatment processes in hot air, such as drying, fixing, condensing, thermosoling, etc. The unit is employed wherever a certain sample size is required, for example to produce sample collections or similar purposes.

THN Dryer
If all the aforementioned applications should be ensured and, when operating the dryer individually, the use of pin frames is also desired, the THN model version is preferable. The standard pin frames are suitable for sample sizes up to a maximum of 50 x 50 cm (larger pin frames available upon request).

Adjustable frames are available – length-adjustable for woven fabrics, or length- and width-adjustable material holders for knitted and warp-knitted fabrics, nonwovens, etc., as well as clamping frames for films and paper.

Drying chamber
The drying chamber with electrical control box and operator's panel is mounted on a base frame and assembled into one unit.

The double-walled construction with intermediate insulation ensures good thermal insulation of the dryer.

The nozzle field, 1300 mm in length, is divided into an upper and lower nozzle section. Using a control flap, air supply can be adjusted equally above/below, or more air supplied from above or below.

Fan and heating
Intensive air circulation is provided by a powerful fan (capacity approx. 900–3,500 m³/h) combined with a precisely matched heating capacity, resulting in optimal evaporation performance.

A dual-protected monitoring system reduces maintenance requirements and increases the operational safety of the dryer.

The heating output is designed for rapid heat-up and is automatically reduced upon reaching the set temperature to avoid unnecessary electricity peaks.

Temperature control is via an electronic measuring and regulating device in the range of 20–250°C.

Fresh air is delivered by a fan directly into the recirculation fan. The desired quantity can be adjusted using a multi-stage switch.
