I. System Concept of the new painting workshop based on drawing: 12-137-010a

System description:

The system is planned to use for the painting of IKEA’s garden furniture parts.

Dimensions of single parts:
length: max. 3.500 mm
width: max. 100 mm
height: max. 2.200 mm

Hanging of parts:
2 chairs/1 table 220 per beam one upon the other; paint has to be adjusted to avoid drops on the parts

Length of traverses:
4000 mm

Qty of traverses:
228 pcs

Conveyor speed:
5 m/min

Capacity:
System is planned to paint 300 000 pcs. of garden chairs/year calculated as follows:
- 7200 single parts/2 shifts (one chair exist of 6 single parts),
- 1200 chairs /2 shifts; = 600 beams in 2 shifts,
- 600 beams x 1,2 min = 720 min = 12 hours effective production > 16 hours (2 shifts) -
calculated with 6 production hours per shift.

Paint system:
Kwedpeylhxqsfx Adusu
Projected use of material of the respective paint manufacturer with low solvent contents (VOC value), water-based, non-combustible and non-reactive with other paint contents.
